Getting Involved

More than 75 percent of WAF’s resources are used directly for programs. Operating on an annual budget of $107,000, primary staff support is donated by the Washington Chapter of the AIA. These funds leverage the work of the more than 250 volunteers who give approximately $250,000 worth of in-kind service annually. Currently WAF relies on grants for operating funds. Complete financial information is included in our IRS Form 990, available through our office.

Individuals, corporations, and foundations are encouraged to give to WAF either by selecting a specific program to support or by initiating membership through annual dues. Our endowment fund enables WAF to expand the scope of its work. It is a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.
